1. Zero-Knowledge Cryptographic Principle

PRISALYA SecureDrive is built from the ground up as a 100% local, zero-knowledge encryption solution. We do not possess, transmit, or store your cryptographic master keys, passphrase derivatives, or vault contents on any remote server.

  • Local Key Derivation: Key derivation (via Argon2id with 256 MiB RAM cost or PBKDF2) occurs strictly within your workstation's local memory.
  • No Backdoors: There are no master override keys, administrative recovery mechanisms, or escrow services. If you forget your master password, your encrypted data cannot be decrypted by anyone, including PRISALYA.
  • Zero File Telemetry: The desktop software does not inspect, index, analyze, or upload filenames, folder hierarchies, or file payloads.

2. Desktop Application Data Handling

When using PRISALYA SecureDrive on your Windows workstation:

  • Physical Custody: Encrypted containers (.psd directory structures) reside entirely on your selected physical storage devices (USB flash drives, external SSDs, or local partitions).
  • Memory Sanitation: Plaintext encryption keys held in RAM during an active mount session are securely zeroized immediately upon vault lock, unmount, or application exit.
  • Local IPC: Inter-process communication between the background system service and the user GUI occurs exclusively over local Windows Named Pipes (\\.\pipe\prisalya_securedrive_*) restricted to the local workstation.

3. Web Portal & Download Infrastructure

When accessing psd.prisalya.com:

  • Server Access Logs: Like standard web services, our web servers record basic access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) solely for operational security, rate limiting, and DDOS mitigation.
  • Contact Forms: Information submitted via the website contact form (name, email, message) is processed strictly to respond to your technical inquiries and is never sold or shared.
  • Cookies: Only local storage is used to remember your interface preferences (e.g. Light / Dark theme). We do not deploy invasive cross-site tracking cookies.

4. Open Source & Third-Party Dependencies

PRISALYA SecureDrive incorporates vetted open-source software libraries, including WinFsp, PySide6 / Qt6, and pyca/cryptography. None of these embedded libraries collect or transmit user data. For complete licensing and copyright attributions, visit our Third-Party Software Notices.
